The Transit Solution

Along with key team members of the corporate team, Freight Services Managed Logistics team analyzed the method of transportation that was in place and came up with a managed logistics solution that provided more efficiency in shipments and deliveries.  The first step in reducing freight damage is better packaging. The tables must be wrapped and cushioned properly to prevent them from shifting during transport. This will also help to absorb any shocks that may occur. In addition, proper labeling is essential. The labels should be clear and easy to read so that the tables can be handled with care.

FSI produced a training video with our team to ensure that anyone that receives our medical exam tables  knows exactly how to handle them in multiple pick up or delivery scenarios.  Similarly, it doesn’t make sense to invest toward in-house software development for claims management – if that’s not your area of expertise.
