Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist will generally complete tasks related to the company’s payables. Day-to-day responsibilities include auditing invoices, ensuring proper documentation, and processing payables. Other responsibilities include fielding questions from vendors, account monitoring and reporting.

Essential Duties:

  • Review and verify all vendor invoices
  • Sort, code and match invoices
  • Enter and upload invoices into system
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Prepare analysis of accounts
  • Assist with preparing check runs

Accounts Receivable Specialist – Job Description

Job Summary:

Accounts receivable specialists generally complete specific tasks related to the company’s billing and accounts receivable needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and submitting customer invoices through electronic or non-electronic means to ensure timely processing and payment. Other responsibilities include fielding questions from clients and managing the collections aspect of accounts receivable.

Essential Duties:

  • Prepare and submit invoices on a regular, timely basis.
  • Ensure invoices are processed accurately and submitted correctly.
  • Answer customer questions about invoices and resolve any errors.
  • Manage customer accounts, monitor past due balances, and manage collections.
  • Run reports as assigned.
  • Work with team members in other departments as needed.

General Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant position will work closely with our finance and operations personnel and be responsible for various day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities. The staff accountant will be responsible for managing short term and long-term assignments.

Essential Duties:

  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, internal audits
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management system
  • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Assist with monthly accounting closing process within the prescribed time-period
  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and other reports as required
  • Assist with monthly and annual budgeting process
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Assist with year-end reporting requirements, including W2’s, 1099s, and preliminary financial statements for tax preparation

Job Description:

Our Logistics Coordinator assists the Operations department in end to end shipment management ensuring the highest level of on time performance as well as first class customer service. Our Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for tracking/tracing and ensuring on time pick-up/delivery schedules.

Our Logistics Coordinator must maintain a positive attitude when communicating with clients on shipment delays due to misroutes, breakdowns, weather, poor communication, or other problems that may occur. This position also assists in managing their own profit centers working closely with teammates to invoice accurately and quote according to the services requested.

Essential Duties:

  • Prioritize time sensitive cargo from origin to destination.
  • Notify drivers of pick-up and delivery assignments.
  • Update shipment tracking system and maintain timely data integrity.
  • Assist in the monitoring of transportation routes to improve safety and efficiency through a thorough knowledge of the company policies.

  • Transport shipments to/from clients in an efficient, safe, and courteous manner.
  • Plan daily schedules based on customer’s needs by reviewing daily paperwork, e.g. Manifests, Route Sheets.
