Job Summary:

A Carrier Sales Representative is responsible for booking truckload shipments including van, reefer, flatbed, and cross border shipments while coordinating with the customer and other team members. Prior experience with carrier sales in a 3PL or freight brokerage is required. The Carrier Sales Rep is responsible for end-to-end shipment management, ensuring the highest level of on time performance as well as ;irst class customer service.

A Carrier Sales Representative will have experience in covering shipments and may be quoting customers. Great relationships and communication with carrier partners are what set you apart.

Essential Duties:

  • Prioritize time sensitive cargo.
  • Call on carriers to create trusted relationships
  • Notify carriers, drivers and all vendors of shipment assignments.
  • Update TMS and maintain timely data integrity.
  • Create a First-class customer atmosphere in all aspects of managing business.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication with carriers via telephone, email & in person.
  • Assists the Director of Logistics in maintaining KPI’s such as, on time performance, profit margin, shipment count and overall carrier satisfaction.
  • Available 24/7 for 1 st class client & carrier care.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of covering freight with a 3PL or brokerage mandatory
  • Experience in other modes of transportation beneficial but not required
  • Bilingual in Spanish beneficial but not required

National Sales Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating new business, expanding existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This is a hunter role that requires a strong understanding of the logistics and freight brokerage space, especially within 3PL and Expedited Air.

Success in this role requires persistence, resilience, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to exceeding sales goals.

Full-time position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue by acquiring and onboarding new clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Conduct regular client communication to ensure satisfaction and growth
  • Analyze market trends and identify competitive advantages
  • Handle pricing, rate negotiations, and manage RFP processes
  • Monitor and track performance metrics to meet or exceed targets
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and retention
  • Evaluate client supply chains to offer tailored logistics solutions
  • Proactively generate new leads and convert them into revenue-generating accounts
  • Travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of successful sales experience in 3PL, logistics, or freight brokerage
  • Proven experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closing
  • Demonstrated success with an annual book of business revenue of $5M–$20M (Minimum required: $2M)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic problem-solver with a partnership mindset for both customers and carriers
  • Solid understanding of logistics operations is preferred
  • Cradle to Grave preferred by not mandatory
  • Experience in Expedited Air shipping is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of other transportation modes is beneficial but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Spanish bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory
